Abstract
Although the phenomenon of subjectivity is avoided in the scientific texts, due to the objectivity that characterizes them, it is common for them to make personal judgments on the subject addressed. Therefore, in the present study, the analysis of 8 scientific research articles, which belong to the language area, is carried out to explore the use of subjective modalization procedures and the resources that characterize them. For this, a quantitative-qualitative investigation is used, with an exploratory scope, which allows accomplishing numerical counts of these procedures to be carried out and to describe its usage in the selected corpus. The results show that in the scientific article the subjectivity is present, which reflects the presence of the author.
