Issue 12 of Semas includes five articles ranging from Indigenous languages —with the marking of indefiniteness in Classical Nahuatl and children's decoding of glottalized words in Tseltal— to a theoretical analysis of the work of Baldomero Rivodó and the Diccionario de la Real Academia Española. It also includes a study of subjective trauma in the relationship between grammar and discourse, and a reflection on analogical semiotics and metaphor in Mauricio Beuchot, which enriches the discussion on the boundaries of language and the philosophy of meaning. Two reviews round out this overview: the first on Juegos verbales de la tradición popular mexicana and the second on Léxico disponible de los escolares valencianos. Alcance, control y evolución en educación primaria. All of the above makes this new issue an enriching contribution to the study of language, its diversity, and its discursive implications.
